Medaglia d’Oro and Congaree set an honest pace throughout while Pleasantly Perfect rallied wide on the last turn, swept to the lead in the final sixteenth, and won by daylight. History was made again as Mandella stood smiling in the winner’s circle for the fourth time of the day. Alex Solis rode back-to-back winners, and Gerald Ford of Diamond A Stables had his first Breeders’ Cup win.. |
